    Throttle Lopes At Certain Position

The tps issue was fixed before the S2 model came out, so this sounds like it would be on you to cover it if the tps is indeed bad. I would start by testing, and then check the connections to make sure nothing is loose. Then if it's still a problem, take it to the dealer. Sent from my Nexus 5...

Remote reservoirs - where did you put yours?

I'm not too familiar with the helmet locks since I don't have one, but could the helmet lock be moved to the right side of the bike so the reservoir can be attached to the subframe on the left side (as shown in your example picture)?

    New member welcome thread..

Welcome to the forums! If I remember correctly, there are a few other Seca II fans on here. You'll definitely love the FZ6 too! Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

    Rear caliper/brake issues.

Re: Rear caliper/brake issue AFTER SWING ARM SWAP As a side note, how much work went into the swing arm swap? Are you happy with how it turned out (other than the caliper issues)? Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

    Rear caliper/brake issues.

Re: Rear caliper/brake issue AFTER SWING ARM SWAP I agree with the above. Try cracking the bleeder and pumping a few times (after putting a hose on there) to get everything bled out, and try tapping on the caliper to move air bubbles up to the bleed screw. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

    Unicorn Bike - Chain Mileage

Agreed. Plugs are something that may look alright when you finally change them, but the plug WILL erode due to electrical migration and the high voltage across them. Even if they look like they can be re-gapped and used again, it's a much better idea to buy a new set of plugs. Sent from my...

    Its together

I bought a used harness to cut and shorten for my naked conversion. It turned out really well, but it was kind of though to find a used harness. If you can't/don't want to go that route, then zip ties are definitely going to be your friend. Other than that, it looks like it turned out nicely...

Do u drag your knee on the FZ ?

Well said, Benji! You can turn with a much higher speed by using body position to keep the bike in a better line. Dragging knees is cool and all, but is not necessary for fast lap times if you've got good body positioning. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

Which FZ6 model do I have?

2004 and 2005 bikes have all silver parts. The 2006 model got some black parts like the swing arm, but still have silver forks. I would say that the OP's bike is definitely an '04 or '05 from the pictures. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

Next bike? What it would be?

To really be honest, the FZ6 needs suspension work for most riders anyway, so the bit of work you'd have to do to the FZ09 is really not that much more. Was it only the rear that felt out of whack for you, or did the front seem bouncy as well? Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

Strange bend on the inside of both rear forks

Agreed ^^^ That's definitely there on the stock, good-shape swingarm. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

Which year model do you ride?

I've got a 2004 in blue with 14.5k miles on it. I got it as the third registered owner last year with 12.5k miles on it. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

One thing I didn't expect about freeway riding...

You need an aftermarket exhaust. Helps you get seen (really heard) much more often! Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

    Safe while stopped? Think again

To add a bit more information to the thread, the driver was a student driver who had braked too late for the red light and reversed without looking. Obviously this is no excuse, but it's a bit more understandable since it was a brand new driver and an overwhelming situation. I feel bad for the...

Fixing Throttle Chop, snatch, rewet, response time. Cheap!

That just says the stock timing is 5 degrees before TDC. I believe (but am not certain (FI will know for sure)) that the stock ignition timing for the same year R6 is 10 degrees before TDC. So really this mod just brings the timing back to the same level as the R6. Also, for what it's worth...

What is the top speed for our FZ6?

The other night on flat highway, I hit 151mph/243kph indicated. Not bad for a naked conversion! Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

Fixing Throttle Chop, snatch, rewet, response time. Cheap!

Ordered the parts, but nothing received yet. I love this throttle response though. The motor is really awake now, it loves pulling up the front wheel! Has anyone ever dyno'd their bike after advancing the timing? Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

-How- Does Your RPM Drop When Shifting?

I don't see any issue with that shifting. Unless you perfectly rev-match your gear changes, the clutch will have to slip a bit to make up for the rotational differences between the motor and the transmission. Revs should drop when you let off the throttle and pull in the clutch, and you...

Might be getting me an FZ6

First things first, welcome to the forums! That said, what did you think of the FZ1? The wind protection and and seating position should be similar, but you'll be noticeably down on power. That said, you'll probably welcome the fuel injection on the FZ6, it seems you've had many bikes, but...
