    Need Help Speedometer problem

This might be a loss of the ground path through a connection on the printed circuit board inside the instrument cluster, the connector plug, a ground lug to the engine/frame or an open wire. There is a white with red tracer wire that provides the ground path for instrument cluster CPU. The other...

S2 Crank but no start. Low d09

This is interesting. Yes you are going beyond duty cycle on the starter. That looks like a wide open circuit, except for the sound it make at the same time. First why isn't it firing ..... My other thought is that if it's a voltage drop do to high current draw, we might hear the starter relay...

    Speedo

S2 series and FZ1 should be plug n play except for adding a jumper wire for the speedo back light on the later S2 or FZ1. The FZ6r speedo may also be compatible.

Need Help Lowkey hopping at low speed

Welcome to the forum! When I bought my FZ6 new, it had the stock Bridgestone tires from the factory. At low speed I would noticed a feeling at low speed. On examination of the front tire, it turned out to be cupping on the tread. Replaced the tires and all was good.

Who remembers these? A product from a forum member

I remember those. It was a member/vender that was selling them. Some years later you couldn't find them anymore. I popped off one on someones bike and did a 3D model in CAD , detailed them and a member on the forum machined some up. The ones I made kept a closer profile to the original insert...

LCD not displaying on 07 S1

The instrument cluster uses a CPU that receives data through a data line. Yellow with a blue tracer wire. There is also a back-up fuse that keeps the clock on time. Are the directional indicators, high beam indicator, etc coming on with the key? I agree could be a bad connection. You might also...

    Replacing the headlight loom

Hope this might help: The circuits I've seen for the directional lights are as follows. The OEM Front stalks have a dual filament bulb. One filament is for the running light, usually a blue with red tracer wire. one filament is for the directional signal, a brown or green wire, depending on left...

    Electronic Flasher Relays-Great Price!

I've seen it listed elsewhere on the bike but most people have found it in the left front fairing area (If your bike has a fairing). It only has 2 wires going to it. I would imagine a naked bike would not be that far off harness wise. Is your bike manufactured as a naked?

Need Help Bike Intermittently Dies or Won't Start

I remember the 2 brothers racing exhaust listed disconnecting the battery when installing the exhaust. It's called volatile memory. Once O was playing with CO adjustment and the bike went crazy rich for some reason, blowing black smoke in the exhaust. I disconnected the battery and it reset.
