Hi Erci, I too have been away for a while. Mom's primary care taker for the past two years, so not much time to ride. She passed in Aug '21 (cancer), just getting back on the forum and I'm ret ta get back on two wheels.

I agree with not spending 500+. Not much louder sound but a little deeper note. There was a member here (search for P2K11) that created a dual cherry bomb exhaust that I drew CAD plans (I need to locate the file).

I went ahead and replaced the battery, no more problems.

I agree with Major Tom. Pics are necessary, some of us are more visually enticed. Maybe something similar to another member Phrank2k's design.

Sorry folks for late reply. Kind of busy and wet weather here. Plan to pull battery today and just replace. Saw someone recommend a gel type. Are these able to be maintaned or charged with standard (Deltran Battery Tender) charger, or will I need to purchase a Lithium type charger? :confused:

+1 on the horn. I got the Stebel Nautilus Compact after a near miss riding to work. No problems since, nice and loud. There are a couple of ways to do the dual headlight mod, search the forum. I think the second method was less challenging. Also look into Hyperlite Flashing LED Aux...

One solution I found was the Shoei GT-Air with an internal drop down sun visor for day use. For me it works great with prescription glasses too. Beats the granny glasses above.
