S2 Gauge cluster housing replacement question..

My S2 gauge cluster, inside the main screen, is beginning to fail.
In fail, it appears as if there's moisture INSIDE the upper left side, however there isn't.

So, I suspect time has taken it's toll on the plastic.

As the assembly works fine, I found an aftermarket assembly HOUSING..
It appears the housing (front and back), just bolt together.

Question, does the OEM housing just un-screw and come apart, or is it sealed and would to be pried apart?
Anyone replace their outer housing with the aftermarket one
(I hate aftermarket crap but..)

IIRC the S2 cluster can just be unbolted.

The S1 (round version) needed to be cut open as it was glued closed

Yep, looking closer at the Chineseium part, / ad, it appears to clam shell, SCREWED together.

The Yamaha parts diagram shows three screws as well, (but not if for the clam shell, or actually mounting to
fairing stay)...

As an FYI, the back of the clam shell seems to have some small openings (perhaps for the internals to be able
to vent moisture..)..

There are like 8 screws and a gasket but it is not sealed/glued shut. There are no vents either besides some open space around the plug. Changing the housing is really easy, disassembly of the fairing takes longer.
