Sorry I knew they are different part#s but they look the same to me. Anyways seems like the fz8 light setup would be much cheaper. Has anyone here done the conversion with the fz8 setup?

Are these headlights the same? I found the FZ8 headlight for 170$ versus 290$ for the FZ1 headlight. I added up most the parts to do a FZ8 headlight conversion and it was around 300$. I Found this thread with all the needed part #'s Fz8 headlight to a fz1 - FZ1OA Message Board

Removed the stock windscreen. The wind noise is much lower now especially at lower speeds. I really need to figure out what seat to get. Leaning towards a Shad seat or custom made bill mayer. I cant send my stock seat away because I ride my bike everyday though. Heres a pic of the bike

I think I will order a Top Sellrie seat. Worth the money to ride and they have seats in stock so I will still be able to ride my bike versus shipping my seat out and being down for a month. Also I will order a taller windscreen.
