I stand corrected :D I guess I was just nervous riding at the back of the pack with 3 bikers ahead of me with only one hand on the controls.

So the other day I was riding with a group of Gixxers and R6's. Now, I know the seating position on these particular kind of bikes can get tiresome and painful after a while...but many of these guys were riding with there left hand on their thigh to sit up straight much earlier than it would...

your absolutely right about the jacket. It says M1 Tech on the back so I just assumed. I got a great deal on it a local bike shop and really haven't done much research on it but its very comfortable and nice quality build. Thanks for the info!

Thanks Vegas, I agree! My bike prior was a bright blue Ninja 250 but now that I have a black FZ6 I realize this could be an issue. My next jacket will be much brighter as well as my helmet. Thanks for the advice!

Def man, I can't wait for this cold crappy weather to break. I keep trying to ride the bike but I can only handle the cold for 15 minutes haha.

Hi guys, Forgive my FZ6 inexperience. I am currently breaking in my '09 FZ6 and I won't be able to go past 8k for at least 600 miles or so. I hear that this bike is a real Dr. Jekyll and Hyde after 8k RPMs. I have barely touched 7k so far but there seems to be plenty of power available...

thanks for the replies guys, it's awesome to be a part of the fz6 community. I just purchases my first official "mod." I bought some T-Rex frame sliders. I've heard some pretty good things from others on the forum, just have to be careful when torquing the bolt from stripping the threads...

Thanks guys! I might have to submit some pictures for BOTM in the future. I enjoy photography/photoshop as a hobby. When the scenery is nicer, I plan on editing a video of the bike and I will be sure to post it up.
