    well...I'm pretty sure that the reed valves on the head of the Yamaha 4 strok engine don't have the same functin as the reed valves on the 2 strok...but the 4 strok does have them....according to Bike Bandit OEM parts diagram...cyclinder head...#18 Reed valve Assy...Part #1217219 $46.24...but...

    Got thru my "mid-life" crisis...moving on to my "near-death" crisis....owned a Harley/Hnda XR250 for years...but always thought the crouch rockets where the "bomb"...came across a cherry '05 Yamaha FZ6ST with 44k...the guy was "up in age" (like me)...that owned it...an used it to ride 50 hwy...
