    Frame slider of choice?

First, I should start with a disclaimer :D Disclaimer: I am not a representative of this company. However, I did look up my receipt, and I paid a total of $86 for the set. This included the 2 pucks and all mounting hardware. I would still strongly recommend that you contact their sales...

    Frame slider of choice?

I have LSL frame sliders. I got them in red to match my bike, and they do match exceptionally well. I have not crash tested them, and hope to continue not crash testing them :-) I did have issues whacking my knee on the silly things after I first installed them, but I haven't had any issues...

    Greyhound advice, please

Greyhounds are wonderful dogs. Lots of fun. I adopted 2 former race dogs ages ago. Most of the time, they would lounge around the house and I had a very small fenced in area to let them play in. If they get away from you without a leash, you will not catch them until they feel like coming...

    Mistake of a New Rider

First and foremost, I'm glad to hear you're ok. Highsides seem to have great potential for massive injury. I'm surprised I haven't seen anyone else recommend this yet; If you haven't already done so, you should probably take the MSF basic rider course. It's well worth the money, and will...

    Which compact camera next?

I highly recommend the Panasonic DMC-FX500. Since you have a DSLR camera already, you'll appreciate the manual controls available on this point-n-click. I think it's actually been replaced in the lineup by the DMC-FX580 (Manufacturer site) I've had a few other point-n-click digital...

    Gallery uploads are working again

That got it. I'm familiar with ImageMagick, and it certainly is quite the memory and cpu hog. I'm almost wishing you hadn't fixed it, now it's a little too easy to see how dirty my headers are :D Merry Christmas!!!!!! Thanks, ~Scott

    Gallery uploads are working again

I finally got my picture to upload. Had to scale the original image down to a smaller size. I was trying to upload a 3.1M file with 3648x2736 dimension. Once I scaled that down to a 1600x1200 image that's less than 1M in size it allowed the upload to work. The upload page doesn't really...

    The Riding Game!

We still have a touch of black ice on the roads around here. If that'll ever thaw I'll get to ride again. I'm down to about one ride every 2 weeks and I'm very unhappy with this ratio. +1 on the new challenge though.

    1001st GPS mounting thread

D-mac: I like the looks of the "yamaha block", but did notice the lack of room for RAM mounts when I installed a u-bolt base for a RAM camera mount. Very tight. I never considered replacing that big block. Great idea!
