Mine does the same thing, even with the stock lever. It won't harm anything to leave it like that, but I just got into the habit of pushing it back between shifts so that it's always where I expect it to be when I reach for it...

I would also suspect you have a faulty flasher relay. AFAIK, that is the only thing that would cause turn signals to stay on solid...

You can get them here. They also come in a chrome finish and they have a model for the front as well, with white running lights instead of red...

In that case you'll be fine. Just leave the turn signals alone and plug the big connector of the Motodynamics light where your original tail light used to be and you'll be all set! :thumbup:
