I recently came off my bike. Pretty much shocked myself when the pegs started scraping the ground and as a result I let it drop... Not really alot of damage to the bike but the foot rest on the left side was a little damaged. So it's got me thinking if anyone has replaced there front foot rests...

Should have said in the original post. It's a naked fz6 which is coming up to 35k miles now. From time to time might see an R1 I'd like to try an keep up with or some high performance car :) I'm a pretty big guy 5'9 but I carry alot of weight ;) which might help me deal with the wind a little...

I do alot of motorway riding, to and from work. I've reached 135mph top speed. Bike feels like it's defiantly capable of going alot faster. I'm only really ripping it with an empty motorway. Just get yourself down close to the tank butt back and grip the tank with your knees.

I use throat mics all the time at work. They have very clear sound when used with our ptt radios so I guess they would be good for use on a motorbike, I've never tried.

I've used a Full injector cleaner a couple of times on my fz6. Hasn't caused any problems and I always feel the bike benefits from it. Wouldn't bother in a low mileage bike but mines done just over 30,000 miles now.
