I've had the exact same problem. I purchased a shorty clutch and regular brake lever from them (black with gold dials). After about 2 weeks you could really tell that they were fading. They went from a dark gold-ish gun metal color to straight gold in about a month. I'll admit tho my bike stays...

I haven't tried putting pressure on the shifter before rolling off, cant believe I didn't think of that lol. I've just rolled off, knocked it up, and roll on. Guess I'll try it that way! Thanks man.

I've tried up-shifting clutchless and it works well most of the time. Had an incident where i was going from 3rd to 4th and got stuck in between the gears somehow, RPM's went WAY up, and it knocked into 4th probably around 9-10,000. Kinda scary as the bike gave a pretty good jerk forward. Also...

HAHA awww man, that sucks! Goes to show ya, some expensive piece of technology isn't gunna save you from wrecking or prevent other people from driving stupid. Don't get complacent and always be alert!

Thanks Mud. It really wasn't that difficult, and its actually kind of hard to get air bubbles under it. It pretty much smooths itself out. No clue why, just goes on real easy. The hardest parts were defiantly the front fairings, on the top edge where it gets flat and also curves around...lay it...

Finished up all the CF projects today. Most of it was pretty easy and learned some tricks along the way. I still have a good amount of the stuff left over too. Having a good hairdryer is a definite plus, good thing my roommates girlfriend is a hair stylist and has one that gets HOTT! Not sure...

yamalube 10w-50 synthetic. Ive only changed the oil once since Iv'e had it. The person who had it before me must have never changed it. The oil looked like mud! Runs slightly cooler now and shifts more smooth.

Im reallly diggin that swingarm! Im unsure as to what r6 parts fit with my 08 fz6 though. So i quess what Im asking is, what year r6 swingarm would work? And this might be a stupid question, but would it ride higher or any different at all?

I personally would go with a Glock. I love my G26 and wouldn't trade it for anything. My first handgun was a S&W sigma .40. I defiantly got :spank: on that one, heavy trigger pull was horrible. I find the G26 is perfect though. Iv'e got small hands so it fits perfect, especially with the pierce...

I really like the road 3s. Work great in the rain and they grip awesome in the turns. Im working on about 2,000 miles now :thumbup:

if you could put it on, and then blow dry it back off...wouldn't it come off when the exhaust gets hot? Just curious, because im real interested in doing this myself...looks great btw!! :thumbup:
