lost my fz6 on march 6 - tucked it rather neatly underneath the rear of a car on the lougheed highway. i complained, but icbc totalled it! still paying off the rest of my loan, but will soon be back on the road (not likely with another fz6, since yamaha refused to give me any credit...
i have successfully commuted all winter (except for about 10 or so days around freezing - i wasnt trying to tempt fate on ice!). with my great armoured jacket and a oversized rain suit, i can keep as snug as a bug in a rug - except for my hands!

with my 2006 fz6, i always had a spot about 4500 rpm, at light throttle, with strange burping/backfiring sounds - tinkering by the dealer and yamaha canada just moved it up the power band and higher throttle, so i have just had a power commander installed to eliminate the risk of my pistons...
