Finally got out the last 2 days,rode to work on Sat. went to a fundraiser for a fellow cyclist,got about 2 more hours in Sat. Today did about 3 1/2 hours before rain came. This has been a long cold wet spring in Ohio for sure! Now the forecast is more rain and cold.:(

A plugged tire is OK for emergency repairs but you should replace the tire.Motorcycle tires flex a lot more than car tires and place greater demands on tires than do autos.
The gap difference shouldn't make that much of a difference unless the battery voltage is low. But the most important thing is you got it up and running again.:thumbup:
Any internal combustion engine needs 3 things to work,compression,fuel,spark. You have to determine which you lack.Since the bike started easily after the plug change chances are it is not the plugs to blame.Easy check for spark,pull one cap,take one of the old plugs and put it in the cap,lay...
