    124.986 mph,Bonneville Sept. 2009 Bub Trials,dead stock 08 FZ-6,at 4,200 ft above sea level you run out of air early. Also if you are less than 250Lbs would help to raise the speed.:D

    Nice weather in Ohio...

    Finally got out the last 2 days,rode to work on Sat. went to a fundraiser for a fellow cyclist,got about 2 more hours in Sat. Today did about 3 1/2 hours before rain came. This has been a long cold wet spring in Ohio for sure! Now the forecast is more rain and cold.:(

    Also read somewhere that Harley was goinng to line up and ask for some of the bailout money.Wouldn't surprise me a this wouldn't be the first time they have asked for gov't assistance.

    A plugged tire is OK for emergency repairs but you should replace the tire.Motorcycle tires flex a lot more than car tires and place greater demands on tires than do autos.

    40 years of riding and racing,never seen a d ring fail,can't say the same for quick release systems.

    The gap difference shouldn't make that much of a difference unless the battery voltage is low. But the most important thing is you got it up and running again.:thumbup:

    Any internal combustion engine needs 3 things to work,compression,fuel,spark. You have to determine which you lack.Since the bike started easily after the plug change chances are it is not the plugs to blame.Easy check for spark,pull one cap,take one of the old plugs and put it in the cap,lay...
