When I drive it to work in the hot weather I use the center stand, as the parking lot is asphalt and even on a mildly warm day it started to sink in the ground. If I park on concrete I will mostly use the side stand.

I'm not using Simple Green to clean my chain. I am using it on my wheels and tires. If needed I will use it to clean any greasy areas of the motor/frame.

I used brake cleaner the first time I cleaned it. I have been using brake cleaner for my auto brakes for years. The disc brake assembly had rubber pistons. I have yet to have one of them fail.
