my fz1 has significant mods and im netting 35-36 right now around town 33ish and it is super fun to ride. a friend has a stock fz6 and the 51-53 mpg is nice it definitely lacks in the HP department at nearly half the HP mine does but it is like riding a marsh mellow lol not bad if i wasnt too...

well so far another couple hundred miles and no issues aside from a new rider learning on a touchy clutch and too tall a bike. so off to find lowering options (spring) and possibly clutch lever mod. z

sounds like we're all thinking the same thing unfortunately and i think it has a lot to do with the short engagement for the clutch on these bikes. Ill end up riding it a bit more but nothing unusual so far. I'll look into this mod.... a different length clutch slave arm I bet any links to...

ok guys a friend of mine has a fz6 and she's having a problem. the bike randomly stalls or "feels like its choking out" described as flooding? but she is a little flustered at the intersections when it happens so dont know if theres any strong fuel smell like its dumping fuel. so got on...
