why Yamaha has this this way? why will you have one light and the 2nd off? Is it OK to drive like that at night or you have to have it on high beam? By the way this website is priceless for a newbie??

I have an issue with my head light. If I turn the light switch to high beam both are working fine. If I have it on low beam the left light works but the right does not. I went and bought a light and changed the bulb on the right . Same thing. One more thing. The right has 3 prongs in the back...
