If this was your main interest in riding why did you buy an FZ-6? It really isn't the bikes forte. It's a sporty standard that works well as a mid weight sport tourer. Why not buy an actual sport bike that would have had far better suspension to begin with? Sent from my XT1093 using Tapatalk

It all depends on what your goals are with the changes. Changing the springs is very easy and inexpensive, and will noticeably reduce the softness and dive with breaking. If that's your main goal then do that and save yourself the cash and headaches. I changed the springs and did the...

The worst thing has been the snap ring holding the fork seal in place. It has to place to really grab it to remove it, and was the biggest pain to get it out. It took forever to get them out on my wife's 05, and I need to change the seals on my 07, so I'm hoping my learning experience pays off...
