    DIY Hard Side Bags

I have a fender eliminator kit with aftermarket smaller turn signals. I am sure that side visibility won't be great but I am not too concerned about it. Have you considered an Ebay Aftermarket taillight with integrated turn signals on it? I used to have one on my old FZ6. I am sure you could...

    DIY Hard Side Bags

Here are my DIY Hard Side Cases. I am very happy with the outcome. They are approximately 18''x16''x7''. They are waterproof, shockproof and only a fraction of the cost of a GIVI set or any other major brand. I used the soft bags Givi Racks and picked up hardware from my local hardware store...

2007 Black FZ6 For Sale in Ohio

I am listing my 2008 Black FZ6 for sale (title is wrong). I acquired the bike just this year and have bought a lot of accessories for it, as my intention was to turn it into a sport tourer, I am just not sure it fits all my personal needs. The bike is in excellent shape fully serviced with minor...

How much did you $spend on your fz6? $7200

I got my faster black 2008 FZ6 with 8k miles from a second owner for a whooping $2,800 and it came with a battery tender, cover, tank bag and tail bag combo. I did all the 8k maintenance myself and got a me some Diablo Rosso Tires II on sale to put on this beauty. Very happy with my purchase as...

    Buzzyness Observations...

I am happy to report that after re-setting and re-tightening the sub frame and after a short ride the vibes under the seat appear to have been greatly reduced if not all gone. It almost feels that now I have to hunt the vibes down in order to get the same feeling I was getting before even when...

    Buzzyness Observations...

The buzz starts at 5k and goes away at 5,5k no matter speed or gear. It seems to be running at its smoothest on anything less than 4k and anywhere between 6k and 8k. The heavy buzz under the seat and pegs seems to pick back up again after the 10k mark all the way to redline. I noticed yesterday...

Did the throttle body sync help with your vibes?

    Buzzyness Observations...

Sorry to bother you with this again, just trying to sort this buzzyness out if that is possible as it really bothers the heck out of me to know that it can be better. Could the Frame Sliders installed on the bike be a cause for the vibrations traveled through the seat? Rear Wheel alignment and...

    NEW Givi Touring Windscreen

The new screen works great at highway speeds, but after a short ride I believe I need plugs as well. The wind noise is pretty loud.

    Buzzyness Observations...

No torque wrench available at the moment in my garage, but I did take a regular wrench and checked all bolts. They all seemed properly tight. I will attempt to re-set and re-tighten the sub-frame once I get a hold of a proper torque wrench and post the results of that.

    Buzzyness Observations...

Thank you so much for the excellent write up on the spark plug caps. I ended up replacing the Spark plugs with NGK CR9EIX and redid all spark plug caps as suggested in your write up. I took my time and ensured all wires were fanned out and the caps were nicely snugged in. Everything appeared all...

    NEW Givi Touring Windscreen

I haven't seen much info on these and thought of posting a few pics of my new Givi Touring WIndscreen that just arrived from Italy. The screen is massive guys I am 5'11 with a 32 inch inseam and this bad boy comes up to my eye level almost. I haven't had a chance to ride with it on the freeway...

    Buzzyness Observations...

Thank you all for the great tips and suggestions. I purchased 4 NGK Iridium Spark Plugs from Advance Auto Parts for $25. I will check the condition of the caps and attempt to fix them if they are spinning freely. I am a DIY kinda guy, but I have never attempted anything similar in the past. I...

    Buzzyness Observations...

Haha I figured this was going to be quite the topic, as I have seen many other threads about our bikes and vibrations on here. My sprocket and chain seem to be in really good shape and the chain is always kept nicely lubed and clean. My bike has about 8k miles on it. Oil is fresh on it and was...
