    Ideas: How to lose weight?

But it still has a plain old fashioned steel sub-frame. Neil.

    BHP chips/moduls

Total crap The 15hp chip on E-Bay is a waste of money. It is just a resistor that you connect across the air temp sensor wires at the air box. You then leave the sensor disconnected, which means the engine can now not adjust the fueling for different temps. The theory is that the engine...

One on the headlight, and the other goes on the instrument cluster. Neil.

To powercommander, or not to powercommander ?

Why would you just want more noise ?? There is no such thing as enough power :Flip: Neil.

To powercommander, or not to powercommander ?

Yes, it will lose 95% of the flat spot, plus smoother transition from shut to open throttle. Neil.

To powercommander, or not to powercommander ?

A set of can's is wasted money, unless you fit a power commander. All those who disagree have not tried a power commander, it is that simple. Further than that, a power commander is cheaper than a set of cans and gives a better power increase, and loses that mid range flat spot. Neil.

    200 miles one tank

Since fitting and down loading the correct fuel map, fuel consumption has changed. Still over 200 (just) miles on a run, but closer to 150 around the lanes. Neil.

What Immobiliser is fitted as standard?

Standard immobiliser is a Y.I.S.S. Or Yamaha Ignition Security System, and it is Thatcham approved. And when I did my insurance on-line with E-bike , it was the only system that came up when you click "Factory Fitted Immobiliser" . Neil.

    Puig FZ6n windshield

That is where my genuine Yamaha one goes. Fit the brackets to the screen first, remove the top clamp bolt each side and "spring" the screen and brackets in to place, fit the new longer bolts and do up to the correct tourque. Make sure the screen is not touching the top of the headlight, it will...

    Handlebar high-frequency vibration?

Welcome to the club :banghead: I am waiting for a referral to the orthopedic surgeon at the moment. In the past, on other bikes I have had success with Renthal alloy bars, together with the heaviest bar end weights you can find. Just waiting for my bar ends to be powder coated and then I will...

    Rpm Ratio To Speed

Sorry but absolutely not, impossible. RPM's for a given speed is dependent on one thing only, overall gearing. And that cannot change it's self, ever. If it really is showing different revs then there is a fault somewhere, probably with the dash unit, or one it's sensors. Neil. PS...

    fz6 dash mod

Don't just consider it, do it, as soon as possible. I bought my FZ with Acropovic cans already fitted (no baffles), and it has a few bad flat spots. Next I bought and fitted a Power Commander 3 usb, it made a difference, but not really impressed with it. Tried to down load the correct fuel map...

    200 miles one tank

38 miles on the flashing light, and it took 18.3 liters to brim the tank, just over the grid. Neil.
