I have had 3 nails in my rear tire since I got my FZ in July of last year (although I've been riding several years before that). There are 2 types of plugs you can do, depending on the service shop you go to. A regular tire shop WILL NOT have anything to do with motorcycles because of the...
The frame sliders I have were really simple to install and relatively cheap. I think I got them for about $70 but it was worth it. Look up Lightning Performance Frame Sliders. My bike is a 2005 but I am pretty sure they work for other model years.
This actually happens to me all the time with cuffed dress pants when I ride to work. The important thing is to not panic and simply loosen yourself first and foremost. The last thing you want to do is put yourself in a position where you are moving and cannot shift either way.
I'm sure you...
What ever happened with this thread? I noticed it too late to actually put in my 2 cents even though I would be down like a clown charlie brown! If it is still an open discussion or issue let me know. Otherwise, I hope everyone here got some sweet Pazzo's.
Allstate tried to charge me close to $2400 for my fizzer when I bought it back in July. The best rates and coverage I could find were with Country, I pay about $115 a month and it includes renters insurance for my house up to $20k.
Anyone looking for new insurance I recommend Country. I used...
If you read buyer reviews of Icon stuff they say all of the models sit a little bit different and a little unusual. Sometimes their sleeves are too long, on other models the torso is too tight or too short.
I like their stuff too but look out for what other buys have noticed or try to wear...
I hope I am not being misinterpreted because I definitely don't condone douchebags (sorry) riding around in t-shirts and sandals. I just like the way the jackets would look sans embroidered flames, skulls, and other supposed "bad ass" imagery all bikers supposedly look for.
What are the opinions of Shift gear and jackets? I like how they look and the plain black on most of the jackets is what I am looking for in a new jacket, but they put these obnoxious "bad ass" graphics on the back. They have two models I like, one has a skull with a rattlesnake going through it...
I like Icon's stuff, especially their jackets. The people who hate on their stuff are the same jag-offs that rep alpinestar hats sideways and have never even ridden on a motorcycle.
I use Orange Clean, it comes in a pumice and it is specifically designed for tough engine grease, oil, and grit. Also it comes with a thick bristled brush for cracks in your knuckles and under your finger nails.
You can get it at any local auto parts store. It comes in an orange bottle.
