I've just had the air box lid off. Started her up and strangely no knocking. Put lid back on and the knocking comes back

Hi all, I'm new to this Forum and although this has already been discussed I think mine maybe slightly different. Knocking only appears when engine warm. Knocking is only noticeable on deceleration. Knocking cannot be heard when clutch lever pulled in. The knocking doesn't increase or decrease...
