:spank::spank::spank: WRONG!!! You can swap the fuel info sending units. I just did it about 15 minutes ago. The sending unit electronics kind of hang off the side and plug into a connector that passes through the pump. I installed a used pump from a 2008 R6-S on my 2006 FZ-6.

I have to replace the pump on my 06 FZ6. There are a million used pumps for an R6. Did your solution work?

I dumped my 06 and broke the mounting holes for the speedometer. I'm wanting to go naked with it. But, I do not like the round speedo. I like the square speedo on the newer FZ's. Does anyone know if the new one will fit/work on the older bike (I hate to call 06 "old"). Thanks, Mike
