Though I can't find simple descriptions in English but, I show one resource. Stainless steel has larger gap with alminium more than between steels and Aluminium. I don't make sure screw hole seize will appear with just the cause of galvanic corrosion or not, you can predict handling of stainless...
Allow my this reply for riders safety
Just thinking the corrosion on stainless screw or parts, I almost agree with you. However, waher looks made by aluminium and, how about screw hole of master cylinder? Corrosion of brake system is one kind of most scare one for me. Putting grease would work...
Allow my intrupption, I wouldn't think use stainless bolt is better idea. Aluminume side(screw hole) will has corrosion by galvanize though I dodn't check finish of screw hole.
If you need to use stainless steel bolt at aluminium or steel part at temporaly use, ptting grease will makes it...
Lewis-san,
Thank you for your concern.
There are many Japanese riders that they keep the condition of old bikes. For exhample, FZ750 and XJ900 XS650 FZR1000 non-exup, FZR1000 etc. Especially, FZ750 has very poor caliper and damn ventilated rotor.... Many people swap using FZR front end...
Just thinking part it self, SS will work but, sometime I wonder some part maker doesn't have mechanical engineer........ .
Me? one kind of very bad:( Because customer forced me stay hotel nearby them for unexpected issue from day before yesterday. I might not have relax weekend. However, I...
The pics was for BT016 but, the Number I described was correct. Please refer below. Sounds like somehow your tire is USA version or export model.....

Why don't you...
Excuse me....... . Why use stainless steel? To think well electrical corrosion, Stainless steel never have good combination with steel or aluminium unless any plating because combination between SS and Steel or Alminium produce large electrical gap. This voltage gap work for material corossion...
For the people who has later FZ6 and want to use brembo caliper, there are YAMAHA OEM brembo(licenced production; we call Yamambo). It is XJR400R XJR1200, early XJR1300 one have 100mm gap. Some people say better than FZ6 OEM Sumitomo.
You should check GSX R one with measurement. It is not ordinaly that they have 83mm. Usually they use 89mm Nisshin.
I think brembo has 40 or 65mm gap on 4pod casting caliper.
Another choice?? How about Belringer?
Yes. I suppose to need to take matching with master cylinder and also sent him the parts list of master cylinder on each model. To prevent slip down at panic brake, need running consideration of mastercylinder and pad combination.
Actually, I don't know the piston(pod) daimeter of early FZ6...
