It's a "to each his own decision", but for me I'll never go back to a 16 tooth. I like the slight RPM drop at cruising speeds. Just multiply .94 times your rpms to get the reduction. (figure it out) Probably better mileage, but the FZ6 gets pretty good mileage anyway. (lol, and full throttle a...
For 8 dollars worth of fender washers at home depot, and 1 qrt 10w oil you can fix your stock springs to be almost as good as those .90s. Sorry, but it's just not worth the work AND THE MONEY to put .90s in. Racetech lists stock as .77s
Just an FYI to everyone. I found fender washers at Home Depot that fit the front tube perfectly. I did the racetech mod on one, but im jus gonna shim my other 2 FZ's. It'll def improve the springs a little. I figure I'll start with 10 washers each spring. Thats about .56 inches. N it sure beats...
Your creditials are useless in the real world. though they may look good on paper. Same with your imagination. lmao.
No offense intended. To each his own. If hightest gives you that warm mushy feeling then by all means run it and enjoy.
I did the 17t switch and yes its awesome. For me anyway. As far as the usefulness of the rubber on the 16t, well its more like a punchline to a joke. The 17t cuts back the r's at highway speeds noticeably. Just multiplY .94 times your r's now n thats what you'll have. Its such an easy swap too...
