Looks very grungy under the seat, which makes me wonder about the general maintenance. Buy a gallon of Armorall and clean that thing! $3000 for a 2005 with 15k miles seems okay. I just bought a 2008 with under 6k miles for $4000, but that was a motivated seller. Mine is more stock than yours...
