Using that logic: hundreds of thousands of people die every year as a direct result of their diet. It doesn't hurt anyone not to have a state mandated diet, so should the government decide our meals for us? It would prevent hundreds of thousands of deaths every year and nobody would be hurt...
Where I live insurance is optional for bikes and all you have to have for a car is liability to cover other people you may injure. There is a difference between a law that tells you what is best for YOU and one that protects others FROM YOU. Not wearing a helmet is not going to cause anyone...
Helmet laws, and other compulsory "safety" laws, are not the answer. Peresonally, I am glad my state got rid of it's stupid helmet laws. I never ride a motorcycle, or even a bicycle, without a helmet....EVER, but I don't care if other people do. You should be free to do whith yourself whatever...
I'm not sure which Ninja, but I think it was one of the 636's from a few years back. I am really curious now. I don't know...I think I'm leaning towards the AA's right now.
Last night a guy on a silver Ninja went by me in a parking lot. He took off onto the highway and his bike made almost no noise. He was flying, but his bike sounded like it had a silencer on it or something. Does anyone know who makes exhaust systems like that? I have heard of quiet "sleeper"...
Why is it the police officer's fault? The guy could have just pulled over. Why are we (as a society) so quick to turn criminals into victims? The guy was breaking the law. Luckily, he only killed himself and no innocent people were injured.
