I've got a grey and black 700 that i got for 120 shipped.. the only complaint i have is the chin strap seems to be slightly to far back for my taste. other than that, the vents keep air flowing pretty decently.

as far as i know, snapple has always been in glass. unless they started as glass and switched to plastic and went back to glass. tank or tail bag (even an expandable soft tail bag) can be amazing. turns your bike from a toy into an actual vehicle for minor grocery stops on the way home and so forth.

+1 to 04fizzer. I would watch a lot more racing if it were available. i dont have cable, and even if i did, i would have to get the 'next' level package in order to get speed. i dont like nascar but thats all i have ever seen on normal tv.

I'd say no, not really...I've been riding my ninja ex500 for about 8 years and had a honda cm400 as my learner bike for about 3 years before that. power / performance wise, I think the fz6 is enough of an upgrade at this point. Is that what you were thinking?

I am going into this with the expectation that i'll hang on to it for a couple years as well, then decide if i want the final step up. I dont think it will end up costing me to much extra in the long run if i can buy it cheap enough, but i hear exactly what you're saying.

I had a reply typed last night, but i guess it didn't send. anyway, thanks for all the input. My insurance doubles (100 to 200) going from minimum on the ex500 to the fZ6. its a very tough choice between the 1 and the 6.
