I now have to figure out how to mount them. My buddy and I are going to look and brain storm this problem. I don't want the aluminum only. I want the added hardening of the liner. I just want some smooth stuff so I can put a sticker or two on it but think I'll be S.O.L..

Yes, that may actually work! Did you have to do anything extra as far as mounting it to the FZ6 or did it come with all the the necessary bars/tools? And how much did you pay? Thanks

I will echo the kudos to the ER6i lovers. My biggest bitch about them is the thin wires. I have fabbed up my own speakers using really cheapass headphones I broke apart, but the noise was still there.

I work at UNC on the weekend night shift. I ride a silver/black FZ6 but mine is mostly stock.

Well here is an update. With the help of ideas from other forums I decided to do a cardboard mock-up of what I wanted. I also asked a couple of forum members who were welders to see if they could help in my quest. I am currently going to be getting a heck of a deal on some aluminum...
