They do have a quick release as safety. You just pull a pin in some cases and let go of the bar. After realizing that I was going higher and higher I would definitely hold on and hope that it sets me down without breaking my entire body.

I have the same question as SovietRobot, I can't seem to get it to display anything other than the intake temperature. Is that something they started putting on the 07's?

How do the FZ6's rate among thefts? I can't imagine they are as popular as CBR600 or GXRS. What do you guys think?

I just paid $4,000 for an 06 with 550 miles on it. I know he has extra's but you can get it for less. But in the end spend what you think is right, you want to be riding.

Bought my 2006 FZ6 used off Craigslist in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The original owner bought the bike in September 08 and sold it to me at the end of October. He put 540 miles on it and sold it to me for $4,000.00.
