This is interesting. I'm looking at 3 different FZ6's and 1 has the Scorpions - so it sounds like I should rule out that one since I prefer the low to mid range throttle response to be better. Of course, I'm one of those guys that prefers a bike to be closer to stock than modded.

Thanks for the write up. However, I have the 650R, and am curious if there are any other similar comparisons to the FZ6 and the 650R. One of my riding buddies has the Versys, but it sits too high for me to be comfy on. The 650R is a great fit, but I laughed when you had to put the window...

Let's see now - 'Older than sliced bread?' - that's pretty much the standard and it was invented in 1928 - nah! 'Older than dirt' - yeh - that's closer. Honestly though- I'm clinging to 59 for now. Not for long though. :)

Hi everyone - just a quick hello. I'll be checking this site and others as I have been looking at the FZ6 for awhile, but could never find the right deal. I've had 3 bikes in the past 4 years, but now only have the '06 Ninja 650R. Definitely a pretty sweet ride, and I may end up just sticking...
