Are you sure your battery is fully charged, it might be just battery issue. Or it might be wiring bad connection issue. Check wiring harness, which goes to immo.

Gary, thanks for the very useful info. Do you think BS Lityum batteries have that BMS facility? What brand of battery are you using? I use optimate 4 for charging and it has some desulpherization mods i guess.

i just used a regular long ratchet driver to uninstall the bolt. No problem with it.

Advancing means more heat you mean? So is it going to work leaner and hotter than before? Is that why you increased fuel ratio using fuel controller. I don't have a fuel controller by the way, i hope i don't need it with 4 degrees advance.
