You are right. Upon further examination, they are metal. Anyway, are these reliable levers? I'm going on a weekend trip next weekend and want to make sure I can trust them.
So I just got my the2wheels adj levers in the mail today. I was surprised that the adjustable part of them is made of plastic. Are the more expensive levers plastic as well? What is the potential for failure of a clutch lever that has a plastic adjuster?
I have not purchased the footprint yet. The one concern I have with this tent is that it is non-free standing. Most reviews say this isn't an issue, but I've never had a non free standing tent before. Any thoughts?
I just ordered the Alps Mountaineering Mystique two person due to it's small pack size. Any thoughts on this tent or other tents that pack small and work well for motorcycle camping?

I am looking to upgrade my Tourmaster / Cortech Draft Jacket's back protector. The standard protector is foam and not much more. Any ideas on an aftermarket CE level one or two Rated back protector that might fit in this jacket?
Post a WTB ad on Craigslist. I picked up a perfect condition Corbin the day after my first posting for $250. Well worth the investment along with some bar risers. My touring rig is complete and comfortable now!
