Yes, 32 miles on the F: gauge and I was a mile from the station. It was a good work out walking my bike for a mile. F: HAS ANOTHER MEANING THAN FUEL !!!:spank:
Shouldn't be more than i'd guess...$250.00. Did mine myself. $50.00 for the bearing and I think labor is $90.00 an hour now. It shouldn't be more than a two hour job ( worse case )
Good luck
Get a cover. I too live here in Fl. and I cover my bike every day. I commute on my bike. I leave my cover at work. I have the Medium sized Trackside Sport cover from Cycle Gear.

I have an annoying buzz also. I have learned that it's my gage cluster. Even though it is rubber mounted it still starts to vibrate every few thousand miles or so. I don't want to locktite it, so I pull the windscreen and tighten the screws when it gets to bothersome. Goodluck !
I'm doing mine soon. A local shop claims to do it for $150.00. He checked my friends Ducati for that price and told him it was in "specs" . I don't know if I have enough trust in a shop monkey to do the work so I will hang out all day and observe.
