I did 1150 miles / Saddle Sore 1000. on my FZ6 June 10th 2011. Rode from La Grande OR. to Julesburg CO. mostly Interstate, no problems, stock seat and 51 year old bod. 17 hours, no issues. Ride On !

32,000 miles or 53097 K on my 06 fz6. I changed the chain and sprockets, oil and filters. I've done one 1150 mile day and many road trips. I have not done any engine work, have not checked the valve clearances. Contemplating replacing the bike...or upgrading the suspension and keeping it...

Will lube bolts and trying nudging the rotor...with a few light taps of the rubber mallet. I just can't believe that the Axle Bolt would have any affect, on the issue. If is is bent..it is ever so slight...and I presume the axle does not ride on the entire length..but only at two contact...

Trying to isolate a slight front end wobble...rebalanced the tire/wheel...was fine. rotors are flat...but when I spin the front wheel...looking from the front..it looks like the rotors are not round..the top edge appears to rise and fall slightly. The Rotors are tight, no wobble on the wheel...

My 06 Just started making this sound this week...at 20K. I've had the bike since new and never heard it before...now I am noticing this at start up and when Im at lights if I have my ear plugs out.
