Out of curiosity, has anyone tried to go 4 into 1 exhaust but still kept it under the tail on the FZ? I'd like to try a big single can under the tail one of these days.
So what would be a realistic price for all of it shipped without the mirrors? I am in need of at least the whole front fairing and stays, but the lights would be nice to have as extras. I have a TON of feedback on calguns.net as far as being a "newb" here. Very interested.
DEFINITELY gonna be a sweet little sleeper project. It'd be cool to run an under pan or something to hide the turbo setup a bit so people don't see it first thing. I'd love to see you blow the fairings off of a gsx-r 750 and walk it on video too....... ;)
I've got the ac-12 el diablo and its been a great helmet. I paid too much for it, but it is a really nice, well built helmet that has exceeded all my expectations. The only thing I wish that it could be is smaller, which would probably make for a worse unit in the case of an accident.
Get a neodymium magnet, put it on the lowest possible spot thats safe on the bike. It doesn't have to be that large, just a thumb size magnet will do, and then you'll be fine at least in the U.S.
If I wanted to get 25-30 mpg, I'd get a civic, not a busa or fz1. I know they may get better gas mileage than that, but come on, 50+ mpg and not that much less oomph is plenty for 99 percent of the people on the road. The guys that ride around here, get an R1 for their first bike, dump it, and...
Tell him that going through more gas, tires, and insurance money gets old. Stay on something 600cc or so and you're gonna be better off in the long haul. You may miss a little low end torque but smoke him in the twisties and call it a day.
Anyone ever try a wolo badboy horn?? Those are still electric with no compressor or anything. Just spray it matte black and go. Plugs right in with the stocker wiring and its really loud. 118 Db and cheap. Harbor Freight Tools - Quality Tools at the Lowest Prices
