high pressure is not good for the bike, much better to hand wash your fz6.

the seat is difficult to clean as its full of those tiny holes so i use a stiff brush to get in the nooks and crannys, it makes it look like new. i dont tend to use polish on the seat.

never use dishwashing soap on yer bike, it has salt in it and it will react with warm water, only use a decent carwash shampoo with wax in it, then leather the paintwork off and then use a decent wax polish on it everytime you wash it, over time it will make the paintwork look like glass and so...

theres a good product out called "optiglanz", it comes in a spray bottle but it can be corrosive to paintwork if your not carefull with it. spray it on a cloth then wipe it over your downpipes, leave for ten or so minutes and then wash off, it brings them up lovely and effortlessly .
