I would second taking a look at the fan and making sure it is running ( and checking first and see if a rock isn't lodged in ) It might have just been a bad coincidence that it happened near / around when you put in the exhaust, but just check real quick because if it is a rock, it might not...

Indeed! Fortunately I'm not in a hurry. I guess I'll just put it out there, if anyone is planning on doing this and needs to get some, shoot me a PM and we can work out getting 2 complete kits. -edit, I will have to wait on doing this for a bit, too broke / possibly losing job soon :(
