Believe it or not, I still have the fairing and tank bag!

I peeled it off and never tried it on the tank again. I don't think it's suitable for the tank as there's too much friction and gasoline spills are too frequent, even if you're being careful.

I wouldn't say it's "massive." It fit well with the contours of the bike. It's 12" long at its longest, 12" wide at the widest, and 8" tall at its highest (without the expandable gusset.) A box that size would be pretty hefty, but this is more triangular in shape.

Great riding! Looked like you had him pretty well in the corners, but the weight advantage and obvious power of the FZ-09 is hard to overcome...

The FZ-07 is a ridiculously fun bike to ride. People say how awesome the motor is in the FZ-09, and maybe they're right, but when I rode the FZ-07 I had way more fun. Featherweight and torquey, it's an ideal street bike. The throttle felt great, and the sound of a parallel twin with a pipe...

Yamaha dropped the FZ6 for 2010 and brought out the FZ6R, a fully faired upright bike... with about 25 less horsepower than the outgoing FZ6.
