My buddy has an FZ1, if I sit on that and get a feel for it, seating position-wise, is it close to the FZ6 in seating style? I like the looks of the SV650s, just not the clip-ons. I don't like the looks of the naked SV650 personally.

Lots of great info. I'm really bummed I can't afford an '07 FZ, I love the redesign. The only thing I'm not sure I like about the honda is the clip-ons. If an i4 is too powerful, I was looking at the 2003 SV650s.

I've got about 20 hours on a KLX250s (Dual Sport) and figured if I keep a 4 cyl under 7k rpm, I should be able to keep the power under control. If a 600 is too much for a beginner, I do enjoy the Suzuki SV650s.

Say I find: An '02 F4i for $2700 with 25,000 miles and An '04 FZ6 for $2700 with 25,000 miles just for example, what are the pros/cons of each? They've both got FI, both 599cc, both Liquid Cooled, both have 6 speed gear boxes... Whats different between these?? I guess the main...
