So I finally got around to putting tapatalk on my phone. I think I would enjoy it better on a iphone, but not a bad interface.. Anyone have any idea how to change the colors and stuff?

I know it has a tab for posts you've participated in so it is easy to see if someone posted on the same threads. This is without needing to subscribe to them as well.

I love it on my iTouch and just got an android phone so I'm looking to get it installed there too.

well.. after living with this app for 18 hours, i can say i visit the forum way more often.. im not 100% on the interface, but it is growing on me.. i can asume that an android or iphone version runs a bit faster, but it still seems like a great way to access the forum...

Cool, thanks for posting! I have had tapatalk on the Blackberry for a while, but it stopped working for the longest time. I could see thread titles but the app would crash when I tried to open it. I guess someone updated something (that's as computer technical as I get LOL) because now it's working again. Woot!

and then i try it today and it says something about decomisioned and to purchase the program??? WTF!!! time to put some cash into paypal...

I have been using tapatalk on my iPhone for a while, and as a customer I got a mail from the Tapatalk people yesterday saying that the official Tapatalk for BlackBerry is released:

"Tapatalk for BlackBerry is now available on BlackBerry App World

BlackBerry users rejoice! Abandoned, Restarted and Rewritten, Tapatalk for BlackBerry finally made it to App World and CrackBerry App Store. This app is currently featured by CrackBerry.com, the world largest BlackBerry users community, listed for $2.99US only. For App World users you can also download our app at BlackBerry App World for $3.99US. "

Could it be that what you are seeing is an attempt to move their beta users over to the full release?

So I broke down and bought the app.. For 4$ I can't complain and I can once again use the forum on the go.. The pay copy of the program seems to run a tad faster on my bb storm 1 too...

Hi People,

I have installed tapatalk on my Nokia, but I really can't see the advantage of it?
It dosn't offer the same functionality as viewing the forum through another browser.
I still have that same size data packets as other browsers. It also is no quicker.
I can't help but think I have missed the point completely. Someone please enlighten me with what I'm missing?

Frustrated

For me, I only have a desktop and smart phone. So when I'm sitting in front of the tv or out and about, I can still check the forum.. Not that I need that level of interaction, but its nice to have.. As for the user interface.. Its not that bad for checking in on it, but ill still check it on the computer...

I turned off the tapa signature. I'm sure no one cares to know if I'm posting from my computer or cell...

The nice thing with the signature is than it lets people know you are using a phone so they can forgive short replies and spelling errors and my favorite the auto complete fails. Thinking of using the phone signature on my computer to hide my stupidity.:D
