Just a quick question. When I measure the chain slack, I measure from the bottom of the swing arm to where? The owners manual isn't real specific. Also, what size socket do I need to loosen the axle nut? I'm guessing 32mm.

As I understand it, chain slack is the total movement of the chain....so to measure the slack, push the chain all the way down and then measure the distance from that point to where it stops when you push it all the way to the top.

You should have a wrench for removing the rear wheel axle in your tool kit.

Good luck.

it is in the toolkit, but how do you know what torque you are tightening to? It is a 32mm and unless its a roadside emergency I would ALWAYS reccomend torquing to proper specs.

Maybe i'm just analy retentive..........
