Sad farewell to my friend who was cleaned up by a car doing an illegal turn last week. He was giving his wife's bike a run after work to charge the battery.
Went to heaven in a Harley Hearse.
His son put some rain gear over his black suit at the chapel and mounted his Dad's bike for a final ride to the cemetary (Triumph Scrambler)
His wife swapped a black dress for leathers and rode behind a mate around Port Phillip Bay to her husband's cemetary and final burial.

And after the ceremony, I rode for the hills and lost the rain about 150km out of Melbourne at a place called Wilson's Promitory. My way of saying goodbye and giving the Fazer a run.

Rest in Peace

I'm sorry to read that you had to bury a friend.

Rest in Peace, fellow rider.

Sorry man... Sad event to be sure but so nice to see them honor him in this way, doing something he loved. Must have had some good friends and a loving and understanding family... He was a blessed man! RIP Rider.:(
