Yeah, a mate and I were looking at these in development a few years back and were watching prototype YouTube vids a month or so ago. A novelty, but not much more... Maybe in a few years, it will develop into something realistically practical.

If he can get 45 miles range, still do the 4 hour charge time, keep the price point where it is, and get realistic highway speeds, then I'll buy it. I commute 32 miles one way, and sometimes I need to ride around at work some.

I still think I'd go with a Zero Motorcycle for my money. I'm just not sure that the transformation feature is much more than a novelty, especially considering all the complexity and limitations it introduces

I would buy one only if I lived 35 miles (maximum range of the uno) away from the garage where I keep my motorcycle.
