Anyone know if 2009 Gold R6 rims will fit a 2007 FZ6.

If yes will my rotors and sprocket just transfer over?

You'd be the first to try. 03-04 R6, 06-09 R6S are known to work. Other R6 may work but I am unaware of anybody who has done that successful. You can look at my compatibility chart for known compatible parts.

Just checked part numbers online and they are the same as a 2007 fz6
5SL-25168-00-98 front
5SL-25338-00-98 rear

My project converting my bike to naked includes, all pearl white paint.

I am putting on some gold accents so I thought Gold Wheels would look awesome, what do you guys think?

Gold Rizoma Universal Sportline Billet Grips
Gold Rizoma Billet Barends
Fuel cap coated black with Gold Pro-Bolts
Probolts gold clutch adjuster
Black Pazzo Levers with Gold adjusters
Rizoma Radial Naked Universal Mirror Bi-Color Gold

3 parts numbers for the R6 for front and rear but only 1 part number for fz6. I am pretty sure the last two numbers are just for the color. So looks like they are the same.

Picked a brand new set of 2009 R6 wheels. From everything I can tell they will fit. Hopefully get the bike into the shop tomorrow and get it done. The sprocket it one tooth different on the R6 wheels, should I swap the fz6 Sprocket over or does it matter. The R6 is 46, Fz6 46 teeth.

I think they will look great for my project.

The rims look good. So that red bike painted white with those rims right?

Dennis

Yes.
Painted pearl white. Going naked.
Rizoma Mirrors, grips, bar ends all with gold accents, black pazzo with gold adjusters, carbon fiber fender and hugger, headers black ceramic coating, rear sets and rad covers powder coated black, two brothers CF exhaust. Have the vision in my head, just hope it looks as good when it is completed! Parts are all on there way, so no turning back now! Hope I am not out to lunch! Wife sure thinks I am!

I paid 400 dollars Canadian for them , and it was local, well a 1.5 hr drive to go get them, local enough.

The seller put some carbon fiber BST rims on the R6 and didnt need the stock rims taking up space. Brand new gold 5 star rims 0km on them, they had the dealer put on the BST rims at pdi. Came with rear sprocket and full cush drive.

X2 Would love to put a set of these on my fz.

Oh no , have started something? sorry guys! $$$

Somehow I think the gold R6 rims are going to be harder to find now. I am still not sure if they fit, everything says they will but wont know until later today when I get them back from the shop,,,crossing fingers!

Will post results later.

Those look awesome!! Did you do the work yourself or have a shop do it? I'm curious if they were bolt on or you had to monkey with anything.
