So I hope I just missed these the bunch of times Ive looked around the bike and cleaned the bike and changed the oil... Yeah... nerves

So the bike runs fine... save popping on deccel

I look down and see these rubber tubes I think four of em aimed downward under my left footpeg... They are neatly cut in a fashion that makes me believe they aren't supposed to be connected to anything... BUT I never noticed them before can anyone tell me what they are?? If they should be there... If Im lucky to be alive... Why people still watch American Idol and Hugh Jackman movies???

I was thinking they might have something to do with the throttle body rubber tubey things... HELP please

They are the fuel tank vents/drains.

On the '07 there is a white paint mark on the fuel tank breather hose.

If you pull the tank up, the drain and breather hoses should be checked for position.

Judging from the swingarm you have one aged somewhere around my '05. If you look near the hoses there's a squarish metal loop that will allow you to tuck these away neatly and mostly out of sight, which is I'm assuming its purpose.

You just have to make sure they're not kinked or twisted; they need to breathe.
