I have a question regarding building a small voltage indicator. I want to place it under the windshield, next to the speedometer. I've found a wiring chart on this great forum but I am not sure if the 12v that goes to the speedo will be accurate to the battery voltage. If yes, then it would mean no long wiring to the battery is needed. I ask only because I am away from the bike and simply can't check it myself.
