My thoughts are with Marcos family, team, Edwards, Rossi and Gressini. Gressini lost Kato too.

I hadnt given that a thought till now So much wide spead sadness...............

I feel terrible. I followed this guy closely since seeing him win in person at the Indy GP in 2009. Aggressive, funny with a bright future in racing ahead of him.

Very sad. RIP.

RIP Marco. Such an enjoyable rider to watch with a nothing to loose attitude. Reminds me of Rossi in he early days and had just as much potential to win!

Devastating to say the least. I had to break the new to my wife this morning when she got up and she broke down it tears as she is a huge Simoncelli fan. Just last night I was saying that with all the crashes in m/c racing it's a very rare thing for anyone to die from their crashes.
....I feel like an idiot....
