Looks like the Woodcraft require some cutting.
I don't do cutting.
I better find some that don't require any cutting.

I just bought the Woodcraft sliders for an 09 S2. There is absolutely no cutting. Was all bolt on.

Have the Motivation sliders. Whatever sliders you pick, go with the Derlin (spelling???). It wears down in a slide but is not grabby so hopefully will protect and not mess up the frame. Have seen postings from those who had sliders and a minor drop broke the frame. That's worse than no slider. If the slider does it's job it will sacrifice itself to protect the frame - you want it to slide and not dig in an cause the bolt to break the frame.

Can anyone who uses the Woodcraft frame sliders describe what exactly needs to be cut to make these work. I'm interested in them but I am wondering what they mean by this.

I wanna know what needs to be cut too since our bikes do not have fairings there

There's no cutting involved unless you've installed an aftermarket fairing then I can't say for sure.
