I did the same. Very happy with the way it looks. In fact I like the stock screen height. I was considering swapping it out for a double bubble but decided to keep this one.

I used an epoxy based satin finish paint. It has held up well so far against chips and bug splats

FB400, you were my inspiration. :thumbup: Yours looks better than mine though. I need to wet sand again to smooth out some of the orange peel and add another coat of clear.

Traf001, I used automotive enamel in a rattle can. Base coat of flat black followed by a gloss clear coat.
