New to fz6, and kind a new rider.

Hello everyone,
My name is Nenad, coming from Montenegro. Just join forum.
My first bike was Suzuki DR650, and I am still kind a new rider.
I just put deposit on 2008 fz6. I am seaman and I'll be home in two weeks, so I still didn't see bike in person. Bike look and sound really good on photos and videos, but I'll know more in two weeks.

I have two questions:

1- Which front discs you guys recommend, one on photos, that are on bike now don't look greatest.

2- Also bike have 44k km, that's almost 30k miles. Is it checking valves clearance and timing chain necessary, or I could still go without need to do anything on engine?

Welcome.

The valves should be checked and adjusted around 39,000km. Your bike should be checked

EBC and Braking make great rotors and are less expensive than Yamaha items.
